A very nice couple with all the right prerequisites adopted Brutus. The new owner has experience with these breeds and lives in the country.
Brutus had improved considerably in Dorit’s care and was a lot more relaxed and trusting. Everything crossed for Brutus!

Mastiff cross, neutered 1 1/2 years old – Brutus
male needs knowlegable dog owner (no children) willing to work with him providing leadership and rules.
Very attached needy and personable however quite capable of chasing a jogger or a running child.
Chases cats as well. Was given up by owner who raised him with his brother because of fierce rivalry.
Crate trained and invisible fence trained gets along with girls and puppies but not adult males. The triggers are moving cats and
too much excitment such as guests….he attacked for the first time an older female who was trying to vie for the guests attention….he was stopped fairly quickly …but once aroused tends to get carried away..but once stopped is all submissive…contrite….he is back to normal with that dog around too….
