BHRR’s Apollo to arrive tomorrow. I shall be picking him up around 3:00 PM. He is a Fawn with black mask, utd on vaccines, neutered, 21 month old(August 1st, 2008) Great Dane that is being surrendered to BHRR. He has been in at least 3 homes to date(Breeders, Smith Falls Home and the one that has contacted us to surrender him to BHRR). What has been sent our way about Apollo:

He is a very healthy, gentle, friendly 21 month old male. Pure bred and lovely. We are unable to manage him due to our family situation and our subdivision. It is not the best life for him, and he deserves that. He has always lived with young children and other dogs. No aggression what so ever. He has been fully vaccinated and neutered. We received him from a family in Smiths Falls a few months ago who could not keep him due to a medical condition in the family. He was originally purchased from a breeder (non CKC registered) somewhere east of Montreal. I don’t have any details about that, but I know he has been well cared for since birth, and has never bit any person. His only bad habit, and I’m not sure why he does this, is he eats socks. You have to be very careful not to leave any within reach, because he really does eat them, and then throws them up. Not too good for the system, I’m sure.
